About Us
Our Mission is "Improving the Quality of Life for our Children"
Who We Are
Kid’s Inc. Child Advocacy Center is a 501C3 nonprofit agency dedicated to providing essential services to children identified as possible victims of child abuse, neglect, or witnesses to violent crimes. Established in 1998, we proudly serve the entire communities of Lincoln and Otero Counties in southern New Mexico.
Our comprehensive support includes a large resource closet, utilized by our children, families, and other community partners, ensuring that immediate needs are met with care and compassion. We are also home to “Sunny,” a specially trained Courthouse Facility Dog who provides comfort and support to our young clients, their families and even members of our professional partners.
We are the sole provider of forensic interviewing services in Otero and Lincoln Counties. We focus on minimizing trauma and re-victimization by offering specialized forensic interviews to child victims of severe neglect, sexual and physical abuse, or who have witnessed violent crimes. We also provide forensic interviews to adults with developmental and cognitive disabilities.
In addition to forensic interviews, we provide family advocacy and crisis counseling services, offering vital support to victims and their non-offending family members. Our dedicated team is committed to ensuring that every child receives the protection, advocacy, and healing they deserve.

Child Advocacy Center is guided by a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors and a compassionate professional staff, all committed to protecting children and strengthening families throughout Otero and Lincoln Counties.
